Has any been married at city hall in New York City?

We're thinking of eloping. I found all the information I need on their website but the question I have is for anyone who's actually been married there. How long did you wait? I know the the actual ceremony is quick but from start to finish about how long were you there. What day of the week and time did you go? Did you enjoy your experience? Any info/advice is appreciated. Thanks!!
