Why cant i become zero suit samus in brawl?

You have to unlock her.Once you do you select samus, press and hold [for gamecube controller]L+R and then press start.For the wii remote without nunchuk you press and hold the minus button and then press start after you have selected your foes.With the nunchuk i think its c or z to press and hold down then press start.
