Is it okay if you are play fighting with a guy and get bruises?

i personally think its okay. he wasn't trying to hurt you. i've had the same thing happen to me. most of my friends are guys and sometimes when playing around they can get a little rough, but i know they are never trying to hurt me. i've gotten bruises before from them grabbing me a little too hard during a game or something very similar to your situation. i think as long as it was out of fun and he wasn't intentionally trying to hurt you, its fine. now if he was grabbing you out of anger and you have bruises from that, then that's a problem.
