Eloping, just the two of you, when you have children from a previous relationship?

It's hard to say how the kids will react. My mom eloped when she got remarried. I was 11 and pretty bummed that I'd been deliberately left out. The 5 year old probably won't be as disappointed as the older kids. You might want to have a talk with them about the whole thing.
