Should I elope with my cousin?

Okay... long time back i brought up being in love with my cousin. didnt really get a definite answer on what to do or at least it seemed confused. Anyways i told her how i felt, and she said she felt the same way, and she suggestd we should elope or something to a small town where no one knows us.... I see that it seems a bit stupid but should we? I'm 21 shes 22. Shes still in university and im an underwater welder. The idea just seems to be taking hold of me.... PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DOOOOOOo
