What was it like for you when you eloped at a courthouse?

Obviously, if you've never eloped then please don't answer. If you've attended a marriage at a courthouse I'd love to hear what it was like. I just want to know what peoples experiences have been. Please, no lectures. My fiance' and I are doing what we feel is best for us and we may just decide not to elope, but wait. Either way, it's our choice and all I want is to read others special moments.
